The Interpretor

Here is  the latest in great bag design for men, and Malcolm Fontier is in the middle of it. So to speak. The Interpretor is just one in a line of sturdy, fashionable, and masculine bags offered by Malcolm Fontier. Officially, the bags are unisex, but let’s face it, women have plenty of bags to choose from whereas men are usually left to pick between paper or plastic.

The Interpretor comes in white or brown and retails at $215. It is covered inside and out with pockets and compartments, allowing room for a lot of stuff, including electronics and a 12″ laptop. The design fits well within the Malcolm Fontier mission statement, and aims for the market between “the buttoned-up, khaki-clad clones and the bling-bling divas.” It is for people “that believe adventure and style go hand-in-hand.”

J.Crew Wool Herringbone Vest

Fall is just around the bend and with fall comes fall attire. Consider yourself ready with a good vest.

This herringbone vest from J.Crew is made of English lambswool sourced from the Abraham Moon mill. They use a ’super-secret’ wash that gives it a softness without detracting from it’s casual feel.

Two piece suits aren’t out of the question with this ensemble either - they’ll be casual enough to not look pretentious and still give off a rugged vibe we’re not ready to start messing with.

 Kenneth Cole Breaking Trends

Kenneth Cole is one of those brands that manages to churn out good clothing and accessories without costs that break the bank. We wish they were a little lighter on the blacks, but sometimes there are just items that don’t go in any other color. Get yourself into a casual coat to match those jeans. Kenneth Cole’s ‘Breaking Trends’ is a soft-shell nylon coat with a zip-front enclosure and four zip pockets.

The dark look and material will go along with any of your dark wash jeans or add just a little touch of urban ruggedness to your casual Friday wear. Pair it with dark colors and you won’t go wrong.

Banana Republic BR Monogram Four-Pocket Trenchcoat

We’ve seen a few products come out under the Banana Republic BR Monogram label and frankly haven’t been entirely impressed by a lot of them, but with Spring coming we think the folks at Banana have put together some decent gear, specifically this BR Monogram Trenchcoat. It’s a four-pocket trench that’s cut with a slimmer fit, straight collar and four-button closure. It’s got a perfect amount of dress-up without looking like your grandfather’s coat.

It wears perfectly over a slim dark suit like this one from Hugo Boss and it’s cut low enough for your to get your hands in pocket on cooler days. Warning, you will not be successful standing around trying to look like this model.

Pair it with a set of dressy sunglasses like these Oliver Peoples and you’ll be accessorized proper for the coming season.
